Principal Javier Arriola-Lopez, A School Leader

For nearly two decades, Principal Javier Arriola-Lopez has led Carson Elementary with vision, heart, and an unwavering commitment to bilingual education.

He began his journey as a bilingual teacher, and now he's built a school community that truly celebrates language, culture, and identity (Carson offers a dual language program from pre-K through 8th grade).

Beyond the classroom, Principal Arriola-Lopez has championed Hispanic representation in leadership, prioritized professional growth, and introduced enriching opportunities from Mandarin classes and robotics to a vibrant band program. His belief in sustainable teaching practices, community partnerships, and parent involvement continues to strengthen the school’s foundation year after year.

At Carson, Hispanic heritage is celebrated all year long through events and everyday pride in bilingualism and biculturalism.

As we close out #HispanicHeritageMonth, we celebrate a leader whose dedication, longevity, and vision have empowered generations of students to succeed with confidence and cultural pride.
