- Discipline for principals and assistant principals must now meet a “just cause” standard
- Right to union representation when you are the subject of an investigation
- Clear notice of allegations is required, even in informal inquiries*
- Investigations must be closed — no more sitting open indefinitely*
- Clear steps for pre-disciplinary meetings and outcomes
- Right to appeal serious disciplinary decisions

- A formal grievance process for certain discipline and violations of the MOU
