In recognition of Principal Appreciation Week, CPAA has produced a two-minute video highlighting the tremendous amount of work that each of you do, while emphasizing the need to advocate for sufficient staffing in your schools.

As the March 2018 primaries in Illinois approach, the Chicago Principals and Administrators Association (CPAA) has teamed up with Our Revolution Illinois and several other organizations to co-sponsor a gubernatorial debate.

As you know, Illinois’ governor can have a significant impact on the funding that comes -- or does not come -- to Chicago Public Schools. So join us on Sunday, October 8, 2017 to hear the Democratic candidates for governor speak about their experiences and platforms.

CPAA is an affiliate of the American Federation of School Administrators (AFSA). Representatives from AFSA will be leading seminars aimed at explaining programs and issues that will affect those who are retired or will be retiring in the near future.

Workshops will be held on the following:

Medicare/Social Security

Tuesday, October 10, 2017

PACE ADA Paratransit Services and AARP Volunteer Opportunities
