Greetings. I write as President of the Chicago Principals and Administrators Association (CPAA). To avoid the divisiveness that a political endorsement can have within an organization, we set a mayoral endorsement threshold of a two-thirds supermajority vote of our members. When our mayoral poll OF PRINCIPALS AND ASSISTANT PRINCIPALS was complete, no candidate received a supermajority. Therefore CPAA is not endorsing a candidate.
