We as educators must sound the alarm: Our students are at risk, and immediate action is necessary.

A.J. Romero has never taken the easy path. As the assistant principal at Garden Place Academy, a school facing numerous challenges in downtown Denver, she plays a pivotal role in student behavior management, implementing positive behavioral strategies and creating individualized interventions. She also supports an intensive program for students with autism, coaching and mentoring teachers and paraprofessionals to ensure the program's success.

The new executive order issued by President Donald Trump represents a direct attack on workers' rights across the federal government.

The Chicago Principals and Administrators Association (CPAA) represents principals and assistant principals. While we do not negotiate or interfere in other unions' contracts, we must speak up when agreements directly impact our ability to lead schools effectively. 

All submitted resolutions will undergo a review process by the AFSA Resolutions Committee.
