Boston Leaders to Get Retro Pay

Retroactive pay is on the way for members of AFSA Local 6, the Boston Association of School Administrators & Supervisors (BASAS).

The announcement came during the union’s April 29 membership meeting, where leaders confirmed that eligible members will see retroactive payments reflected in their paychecks on Friday, May 8. The payments apply to current BASAS members as well as those who have since moved into other district positions.

And now that funding is going away. So what does that mean for the progress we’ve made? Especially when we know that the needs in our schools haven’t decreased… they’ve increased.
